Frank Sinatra - Once Upon A Time (Everything Happens To Me)
Once upon a time
A girl with moonlight in her eyes
Put her hand in mine
And said she loved me so
But that was once upon a time
Very long ago
Once upon a hill
We sat beneath a willow tree
Counting all the stars and waiting for the dawn
But that was once upon a time
Now the tree is gone
How the breeze ruffled through her hair
How we always laughed as though tomorrow wasn't there
We were young and didn't have a care
Where did it go
Once upon a time
The world was sweeter than we knew
Everything was ours
How happy we were then
But somehow once upon a time
Never comes again
Once upon a time
Never comes again
ONCE UPON A TIME - cover of F.Sinatra/Bobby Darin (04:14)
Me singing this song popularized by Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and other artist.
Lyrics provided in the video.
this is good, but the song has a better effect when the singer has a deeper voice.

@shadybunnz Well said shady. Sinatra
shows excellent breath control here as well as wonderful phrasing. I'm guessing that had he studied, he could have sung arias. Nevertheless, his rendition of RIVER here, is one of the best by any singer taht I ever heard, period!

If this is solely a black man's song then somebody better tell its author, Jerome Kern about that. How possibly could he know anything about a black song? Of course Ella Fitzgerald , Judy Garland and Aretha Franklin are guilty singing this classic also.
Don't you think it's stupid , bigoted and narrow minded to say a song belongs to a certain group? All songs belong to those can put feeling to them. That is not any different then an actor that plays somebody other then himself.

False, end statement, 1915fas. Sinatra was not the "biggest star," he was quite fresh on the scene, in fact. Numerous others held higher "start power" than he...just to put that straight (i.e. Judy Garland, Angela Lansbury, Paul Langton...to name a few).
